Officially, Companhia Cacique de Café Solúvel turned 50 in 2009. However, this is a story that began long before October 17th of 1959, when Mr. Horácio Sabino Coimbra founded the company along with other pioneers in northern Paraná.
This is a long time story that comes from São Paulo, in the beginning of the 20th century, with the coffee plantations that had grown by the hands of the Coimbra patriarchs, in the state.
Today the company is highlighted inside and outside the country, being one of the largest units of soluble coffee productions in the world under one roof, with a capacity of approximately 70 tons per day and exporting to over 70 countries on the 5 continents. But the audacity and capacity for growth and market share gains aren't recent events. This reality is intertwined with the history of the company and has been following Cacique® day to day in the last half century.
The products and the potential success of the company meant that what was once just a factory to become the Chieftain Group, which now includes three industries: Soluble Division, Food and Packaging, and the Food Division is located in Barueri (SP) and the others in Londrina (PR). And so, the initial marketing of coffee, the Group Chief went on to produce oil, coffee, coffee extract, roasted coffee, beans for espresso, cappuccinos in various flavors, coffee, milk chocolate. In addition, its expertise in manufacturing shops, the market has taken on its own brands.
Always highlighted in the coffee segment, the Group Chief is one of the largest exporters of coffee in the world with the technological capacity to suit the taste and aroma of coffee to the quality standard of each country. There are countless varieties of spray dried, agglomerated and freeze dried, consumers who conquered the world and continue to grow over the five continents, registering steady growth.
